Ride London Video

Pete Ganderton put together a really nice video of the first few km through London early in the morning. He says:

"I think what I love most about RideLondon is the chance to fly through the city, not having to worry about's a very unique experience!

I had a GoPro mounted under my handlebars today...just done a quick and dirty edit of the footage showing the fun of ploughing along in a fast pack.

(right at the end, laugh at me getting a roundabout wrong...)"

RIDE IT Essex Sportive 19th July

Brian Perry had a warm and breezy day in the Ride It Essex Medium Sportive on Sunday 19th. Starting south of Chipping Ongar and reaching almost as far as Stansted, the route covered 110km along quiet rolling country lanes through some of the prettiest Essex villages. I covered much of the ride in single file groups, sheltering from the breeze. The final 20km introduced more demanding gradients which broke up the mini-pelotons. I achieved a respectable average speed nearly 18 mph.

Sportive and Audax week ending 14th June 2015. Tour of Cambridgeshire and Velothon Wales

‪Ray Hayhurst‬ I managed 3.45 in the Tour of Cambridge which I'm very happy with. Got a medal as well!!! Not quite up to yesterday's results though.

‪Robert John Thompson‬ I wasn't in this list (probably as I signed up as Reading Uni club), but I did 3:55 at the tour of Cambridgeshire, and also got a medal. Trip to Denmark is in order.

We had 14 riders - here are some of their reports
