Mark Lyford writes: Market Place cold and foggy – typical October weather, couple of hours later sat outside sipping coffee in sun not so typical!
12 of us set off towards new destination – Pasha Deli Cafe in Chobham. Leaders usually don’t head this way as ‘the roads are too busy’. We’ll our outward route was certainly low traffic! Included in our group were a couple of new riders from Reading University – being hopeless with names I can only remember one of them and that is only because he was named Mark!

John Wann reports: Easter Sunday saw the completion of the Reading CC Torture 40. An event keenly welcomed by Wiggle and AW cycles as a boost to their sales of inner-tubes.

I was down to lead ‘brisk’ to Four Marks on the A31 west of Alton. I thought this was an ambitious destination and warned my wife I’d be home after 1pm. And I was right because we eventually pitched up at the 4th choice coffee stop.
